SONGLINK AT CITY SHOWCASE
SongLink's David Stark hosted the final workshop session of City Showcase 2010 at the Apple Store on London's Regent Street on Saturday May 9th. Titled "Feedback", the session was a live critique of half a dozen singer/songwriters who all played one song live onstage in front of the industry panel, which consisted of legendary singer Tony Christie ("Is This The Way To Amarillo", "Avenues And Alleyways"), songwriter Lynsey De Paul ("Sugar Me", "No Honestly") and singer/songwriter/club host Tony Moore. The performers, who all received some positive feedback, included Sam Taylor (Dead Like Harry), Catherine Paver, Akayzia, The Zemitones, Ross & the Wronguns, Jess Morgan, Antonio Lulic and Lewis Fieldhouse, while Tony Moore closed the show with his song "Best Day Of Your Life."
