58TH IVOR NOVELLO AWARDS NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED

LONDON, April 17th: Nominations for the 58th Ivor Novello Awards were announced today at London's Ivy Club by Paul Gambaccini, with Emili Sandé ("Next To Me") and Ben Drew aka Plan B ("Ill Manors") both up for two awards, along with one of last year's winners, Justin Parker, who co-wrote Bat For Lashes's "Laura". Other songs being recognised include hits by Alt J, Jake Bugg, The Maccabees, Olly Murs, Ben Howard, Lianne La Havas and Coldplay.

The Ivors, sponsored by PRS For Music, take place on Thursday 16th May at the Grosvenor House Marriott Hotel in London's Park Lane. They are presented by BASCA and judged by the writing community and are regarded as the most important awards for UK music writers. The full list of nominations for the year 2012 are as follows:
